Tips for searching Ebscohost for career information:

- select Canadian Reference Centre
- try the following search terms: career information, job information, best jobs, best careers
- try job specific terms like: animator, career as pilot, career as mechanic, becoming a veterinarian
- narrow search under "Refine Search" by clicking Full Text, Sources Published in Canada
- try advanced search, click on "all search terms", "apply related words", "also search within the full text of articles"
- under advanced search click on "boolean search" and type in search strings such as: veterinarian and career, veterinarian or vet and career, veterinarian or vet and career not military 
- search by descending or ascending date or by relevance.
