April is National Poetry Month

Here are some more ideas for celebrating National Poetry Month:

  • Write a poem.
  • Read a poem out loud to friends or family.
  • Memorize a poem.
  • Leave a poem in an unexpected place (make sure you credit the source or yourself if it is an original poem)
  • Attend a poetry reading.
  • Read a poem at an open mic event.
Check out our selection of poetry books in the library.
