I Love to Read Month Contests!

Fall in Love with a Book is our theme for I Love to Read Month this year.

Sometimes it's hard to choose a book and Ms. Armstrong and Mrs. Plaitin are in the library to help. We often recommend books that students and staff tell us they liked.

Enter our contests for a chance to win a prize for recommending good books.

The 5th Wave by Rick Yancy is just one of the many books students (and our Library Sheep) have been recommending. You can see what else he has been reading on his blog

One of our contests is our Autograph Contest. Write down the name of a book you like and sign your name underneath it on our "autograph window".

Your name will be entered into a draw for a chance to win. If your name is drawn, you can choose a new book for the library and be the first person to read it. You can also win book-related stickers and buttons.
As you can see, the Sheep recommended Astronaut Chris Hadfield's book, An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth.

For every contest you enter you will have a chance to win a grand prize at the end of the month - - a book of your choice that you can keep (donated by Ms. Armstrong).

Students taking part in the MS Read-A-Thon will get two extra entries in the library contests, increasing their chances of winning.

Enter our Bucket List Contest. Write down your name and 1-5 books you think people should read before they graduate.

Here is Ms. Armstrong's list.

Mrs. Plaitin's list of books you should read before you graduate.

As always, every Friday you can enter our Friday Reads Contest.

Stop by the library for more details on our I Love to Read Month activities.

For extra contest entries follow us at @CarmColLibrary, on Pinterest and on Facebook. If you already follow us, let us know and we'll give you extra entries as well.

Good luck!
